Romans 5:12 – "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Sin has come into the world and death by sin.

People that do not believe in God want to do away with death. But since they cannot do away with death, they would like to do away with the cause of death. Unbelievers want to say that death has always been, and there is nothing to be done about death. They are far from right. When God first created this world, there was no death. Death entered the world only because of the disobedience of Adam. This is all recorded in Genesis 1-3.

Skulls of the oldest modern humans have been uncovered in Herto, Ethiopia, showing that people looking remarkably like us were roaming the African plains 160,000 years ago. …

Professor [Tim] White [co-leader of the excavation team] said the early humans at Herto lived on a shallow lake alongside hippos, crocodiles, catfish and buffalo. Over 600 stone artefacts, including axes, were also found. …

Australian anthropologists expressed surprise at how modern the skulls looked. ‘It's quite extraordinarily modern-looking really,’ said Stephen Collier, a lecturer in archaeology at the University of New England. ‘You wouldn't have expected this 10 years ago, anything this modern.’

Geologist Jim Bowler, who discovered Australia's oldest human remains, the 40,000-year-old Mungo man in 1974, said the skulls looked remarkably like modern people. ‘If you put this fellow in a grey charcoal suit, they wouldn't look out of place on Collins Street.

Whereas modern-day people are classified Homo sapiens sapiens, the new skulls have been placed in a subspecies, Homo sapiens idaltu (which means ‘elder’ in the African Afar language).

Homo sapiens sapiens is a very slippery concept,’ said Colin Groves, of the Australian National University's anthropology department. ‘The new specimen is exactly what we predicted for Homo sapiens before it starts to branch out and diversify, before it started to develop racial features.’

What these evolutionists are saying is that death did not come into the world because of sin. They are saying that death is a natural part of evolution. When one generation dies off, and another generation comes on the earth, the earliest generation is better than the previous generation.

Evolutionists are saying that death came about before Genesis 1:1, that fossils are products of death.

Evolutionists are saying: (If there is a God)

At the beginning (which was a long, long time before Genesis 1:1) there was death, destruction and misery, and God saw that it was good.

There was sickness, disease, poverty, and animals eating other animals, and God saw it was good.

God saw wars coming on the earth with all its accompanying misery, death, illness, disease, personal injury and torment, and God saw it was good.

When God saw all the misery of this earth, God created man, and placed him on the earth, and God said it was very good.

Because of the above beliefs, and the fact that evolutionists have led many people to believe there is no God, or at least no God in charge of life and death, there is no real need of a Saviour. They say that God is an empty crutch. But this is a big Satanic lie. If evolutionists can make us believe that death is a natural part of life, and not a part of disobeying God, there is no need for salvation, forgiveness, and there is no such thing as right or wrong. There is only better or worse. Decisions we make do have repercussions, but there is still no such thing as right or wrong. People are not receptive to the gospel message, because there is no need of a gospel if sin and death has nothing to do with destruction.

If evolutionists can only disprove how sin came into the world, they (to their own selfish satisfaction) have also disproved the following two verses.

Romans: 5:12 states, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"

Romans 5:21 states, "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."

Even though evolutionists have tried to do away with sin and death, they cannot do away with the fact of death. But instead of linking sin with death, like the scriptures do, they try to link death with life, which God never did. In the beginning, God intended man (and everything else) to live eternally in the physical, fleshly bodies he created for them. Genesis 1:31 – God saw everything was very good, not very bad.

Romans 6:23 states, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Furthermore, they believe they have disproved the necessity of God, or the Saviour, Jesus Christ. They believe they have disproved the creation by God, and for God, as stated in the Bible, sin and how it came into the world. They believe the death, burial and resurrection (the gospel) is of none effect. They believe they have effectively reduced the miracles of the Bible to fables, the judgment to nothingness, and the final casting into the Lake of Fire of all unbelievers as a control tactic used by believers to force unbelievers into submission to believers.

Put point # 3 (Romans 6:23) after the final paragraph on the file: salvation: Why Death

Some points about the fall of man into sin and death.

There was no sin in the original creation. Sin came into the world as a result of Adam’s disobedience to God’s clear command.

The snake talked. We read over this fact many time, but it is still the truth. And the woman was not surprised when the snake talked. I believe Adam and his wife was able to communicate with all the animals in the natural "tongue" of the animal. I do not know if the snake spoke in an audible voice, like we think of a human being speaking, but however language was used, it was clearly understood by the woman. I believe the snake could talk, which should be no surprise at all. I also believe snakes could walk. I do not believe the picture of the snake curled in the branches of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, speaking to the woman. The curse upon the serpent (snake) was that it would have to crawl about on the ground eating dust, Genesis eating dust, Genesis 3:14. I believe God removed legs of snakes by changing the DNA of the snakes, just like sin changed forever the DNA of humans, so we no longer live forever, but face the wearing out of our bodies and death. Adam knows everything God knows because Adam was created with all the knowledge of God. Genesis 2:19 states, "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof." Do you see how God and Adam agreed on the names of all the animals? God did not have to correct Adam one time. Therefore I conclude that Adam and God were in agreement on everything. After all, there was no sin – no disagreement with God, and no transgression of the law of God.

After Adam disobeyed the clear command of God, he tried to save himself by his own works, but it didn’t work. Adam and his wife made aprons of fig leaves to clothe their physical nakedness, but their spiritual nakedness was apparent to themselves and to God. When God came walking in the cool of the day, Adam and his wife hid themselves among the creation of God, but they could not hide themselves from the call of God, which he gave to them in their hearts.

Genesis 3:8,9 states, "And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" God came walking. God knew what Adam had done, because God knows all things. God did not come running, or stalking, or sulking, or flying, or slinking into the Garden of Eden. Walking indicates a slow, steady progression toward Adam and his wife. This is the way God walks toward us. He may not seem to be making much progress, but progress he makes. God did not come in anger; he came with knowledge compassion, grace, mercy forgiveness and eternal life. God called for Adam personally, as he called his name. This is not a general call, but a specific call to a specific person. This is the way God called me. God touched me with the preaching of the gospel message. But before that, God called me with a condemning message. He spoke to me before he ever appeared to me, revealing to me that all my works were works of damnation, not righteousness. Has God spoken to you personally, and individually? Remember, it is not Satan speaking to you, calling you to God. It is not your natural inclination to come to God. It is God speaking to you individually. May people around you may tell you that you do not matter, but you do matter to God. Do you hear God calling you? Do you hear God speaking to you, not yelling at you, but speaking to you, in that still small voice of the Holy Spirit? Listen carefully to the voice of God as he urges you to repent of your sins and turn to him. He offers salvation. He offers hope for this life and the life to come. At this time, God is not condemning you to the flames of an everlasting hell, but that time is coming. Listen today, and heed the call of God for eternal life.

Evolution offers mankind no hope, but Jesus does. Notice Genesis 3
