Revelation 21:5 "And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."

Revelation 21:9 - Notice the same angels who bring the seven last plagues upon the sin cursed earth are the same angels who show John the bride of Christ. Actually, the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Revelation 21:10 - Where is the mountain? The mountain, I believe, is the kingdom of God in its entirety. Notice:

Psalms 48:1 <<A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.>> "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness."

Isaiah 2:2 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."

Isaiah 2:3 "And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."

Isaiah 11:9 "They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

Revelation 21:1 - There is no more sea. Compare to Psalms 72:8, "Psalms 72:8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth."

Amos 8:12 "And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it."

Micah 7:12 "In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain."

The New Jerusalem is present in the new earth instead of in heaven.

God’s dwelling place is on earth, not in the sides of the north, as described in Isaiah 14:13, "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"

Satan has sat on the throne of God in the present Jerusalem - II Thess. 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Revelation 21:22 - There is no temple in the New Jerusalem, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Revelation 21:23 - There is no sun, or moon in the New Jerusalem, because the Lamb is the light of it. See also Revelation 22:5 - Our light will be from the Lamb, not the judge (who seeks justice above all things). All of the light we have will come from the Lamb, which is a type of the sun, and the moon, which reflects the light of the sun (Son).

There is no devil in the New Jerusalem. He is in the Lake of Fire. He is no longer accusing the brethren - Revelation 12:10.

Revelation 22:1 - The River of the water of life is available for everybody. Jesus told the woman at the well, in John 4, that the water was available. In the New Jerusalem, the water is available in a real spiritual (natural) sense, just as it is available now in a real spiritual sense.

Revelation 22:2 - The tree of life is in the New Jerusalem, not on this present earth, or in the Garden of Eden.

Revelation 22:27 - Today, there is a mixture of good and evil everywhere - in our lives, at our jobs, in churches, everywhere. But in the New Jerusalem, there is no evil there at all.

Revelation 22:3 - The curse is removed. We have all lived with the curse all our lives, but the curse will not be present in the New Jerusalem.

Revelation 22:4 - We shall see Jesus face to face. This is something we have never done before. We do not know what he "looks like" now, but we will in that day. Even though there are literally millions and millions of redeemed people in eternity, each and every person will be able to be face to face with Jesus - our Saviour, Lord, King, Judge and Almighty God.

Revelation 22:5 - The good times will never cease. Jesus will reign forever and ever, and his people will reign alongside him - forever and ever.
