Some people don't believe there is an eternity, so to them, religion doesn't make any difference.

Some people believe that everybody is going to heaven, so religion doesn't make any difference to them.

Some people are trusting the rituals, or doctrines, of their church to take them to heaven. They're doing everything their church says they ought to do, and hoping it's enough!

Some people believe good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell, so they are being as good as they can, and hoping for the best.

Some people don't believe there is a hell, or that hell is upon this earth, so religion doesn't make any difference.

Some people make a public show of not caring anything about religion, their death, or where they will spend eternity. But privately, they know it really does make a difference!

Acts 17:25, The Lord God, who made the heavens and the earth, doesn't live in church buildings and is not worshipped by men's rituals and devices.

John 4:24, God is Spirit, not flesh and bone. He must be worshipped in spirit and truth.

Acts 17:26, Every person came from the first man and woman God created in the Garden of Eden.

Romans 5:13, Adam sinned, and came under the condemnation of everlasting death. Death also reigns over us, who have not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression.

Acts 17:31, God demands that every person repent of their sinfulness, because there is coming a day of judgment for every person.

Phil 2:5-11, We can have complete confidence in God because, through the only virgin birth, He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, into this world to seek and save that which was lost.

His death, burial, resurrection and Ascension into heaven prove what He can do for us. You can't go wrong by trusting Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, as your personal Lord and Saviour.
