I Peter 5:12-14
The conclusion of the book of I Peter
Verse 12, By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
Verse 13, The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
It is amazing to understand that Peter is at Babylon, writing to the scattered strangers. Catholics suppose that Peter is the first pope and remained at Rome during his reign. But this scriptures reveals the truth about it. Peter was pastor of the church at Babylon. He would well teach the believers there.
Verse 14, Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Although Peter is a long way from the scattered strangers, he still loves them and prays for God richest blessings upon them all.
