What is the Will of God?

Eph. 5:17

1. Salvation

I Tim. 2:4 - Who will have all men to be saved.

2. Baptism

a. John 4:1 - Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John.

b. Acts 8:35-38 - Eunuch baptized the same day he was saved.

c. Acts 16:14,15 - Lydia baptized immediately after salvation.

d. Acts 16:30-34 - Jailer baptized straightway.

3. Service - In his local church. (after baptism) There is service outside the local church, but this is the best way.

a. Live by faith - Heb. 10:38, then Heb. 11.

b. Sanctification - I Thess. 4:3 - This is the will of God.

c. Refrain from sin - I Peter 3:8-11

d. Watch for the Lord's return:

1. Matt. 24:42

2. Matt. 25:13

3. I Thess 5:1-9 - We are not in darkness, but in the light, let us walk in the light.
