What we have in Christ

Hebrews 10-11

1. Salvation

   1. Heb. 10:1-4 – A forgetfulness of sins.

   2. 10:11-14 – Many offerings – standing comparing to Christ sitting

   3. Verse 17 – Our remembering no more.

   4. Verse 20 – A new and better way.

   5. Verse 22-25 – four ways to express sour hope in Christ.

   6. Verse 32-39 – The troubles of this life expressed and overcome by faith.

2. Faith to Serve.

   1. Faith enables us to live the future – now!

   2. The folks long ago were able to be faithful, so we can too.

3. Forgiveness of sinfulness.

   1. 12:1 – Lay aside sin.

   2. We will have chastening because we have sin.

   3. Verse 15-24 – We can come to Jesus, not the works the law demands.
